Best of the MCM Awards: The Top 11 Catalog Covers

The proverb says you can't judge a book by its cover. But in real life, if you mail a catalog that has an excellent cover, it's more likely to be read than one with a dull, uninviting presence.

So which 2011 MCM Awards entries had the top-graded covers? The MCM Awards staff tallied the scores and determined two things: There was a virtual tie for Best Catalog Cover between Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Electronics 2010 and Shoes For Crews, Winter 2011; and that a three-way tie for ninth place made our Top 10 list a Top 11 list instead.

1 (tie): Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Electronics 2010. Judge's comment: "Great – hard working, merchandise-driven, focused and effective covers. They say, 'We're here to sell you electronics!' and they do."
