Ken Aponte Joins Shopgate as Vice President of Customer Success

As VP of customer success, Aponte will uphold Shopgate’s charter by ensuring customer satisfaction, driving shopper retention and increasing revenue growth

AUSTIN, Texas, July 26, 2017Shopgate, Inc., the leading SaaS shopping app platform, has appointed Ken Aponte as the company’s vice president of customer success. In this role, Aponte will be responsible for ensuring Shopgate customers have a first-class experience with the company, ultimately helping them to drive customer retention and revenue growth.

Prior to joining Shopgate, Aponte served as senior director at Personify, where he was instrumental in developing a team that delivered a high-value SaaS services value proposition for clients. Before his tenure at Personify, Aponte was a Management Consultant with Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, working with clients to identify the largest and most complex business challenges, developing and executing programs to address those encounters through investments in people, process or technology.

Aponte earned an MBA at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, where he received the Walter Jones Fellowship and served as president of the Graduate Business Association. He also holds a Master’s Degree in computer engineering with a focus on chip architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, Aponte is a combat veteran of the U.S. Army, having served tours in Central America.
