Claire’s Stores named Brian Doyle president/chief operating officer of Just Nikki, an apparel catalog for teenage girls and young women. Before joining Claire’s, he was vice president-marketing for J. Crew.

PC Connection promoted Wayne Wilson to president/chief operating officer. His previous position was senior vice president/chief operating officer. And Mark Gavin joined the computer cataloger as vice president of finance/chief financial officer.

Outdoor apparel and equipment cataloger L.L. Bean promoted Fran Philip to vice president/general manager from director of the Home & Camp product division.

Conney Safety Products promoted Michael Stamn to president/chief operating officer. Also, Tim Higgins joined the business-to-business cataloger as director of sales, and Pete Sandys signed on as director of marketing.

Casual apparel cataloger Lands’ End named Gary R. Steuck vice president/managing director of Corporate Sales, the company’s business-to-business catalog.

Barry Erdos joined apparel cataloger/retailer J. Crew as chief operating officer. He was previously executive vice president/chief financial officer of retail chain Express, a division of The Limited.

Apparel cataloger/retailer The Talbots appointed Debbie Martin vice president, product development. She will be responsible for overall product development for all Talbots women’s businesses.

George McMahon was named vice president of marketing for The Sportsman’s Guide. Prior to joining the outdoor sportings goods cataloger, he served as vice president of corporate development for Abacus Direct.

Joseph Calabro has stepped down as CEO/president of Artistic Greetings. Stuart Komer, current chairman of the board of directors, has been named interim CEO/president of the stationery and personalized goods catalog.

Home furnishings catalog Ballard Designs named Margo Wyckoff senior vice president, merchandising administration. She was previously director of inventory for Coldwater Creek.

Fran Golub was named vice president of JAMI Marketing Services. She will maintain her responsibilities as director of all list management services.
