Micron Electronics announced three appointments: David Burcham to senior vice president and general manager, consumer and small business; Harry Heisler to vice president and general manager, public sector; John Hlavac to area vice president, customer service and support. Also, Judy Bitterli, currently vice president and general manager, commercial enterprise, has been named vice president, online sales and marketing.

Holt Educational Outlet promoted David Lord to chief executive officer, from chief financial/chief information officer. He will work with president Paul Holt to build the company’s Internet business.

Michael Dzvonik, chairman and CEO of Grizzard has been installed as the Mail Advertising Service Association’s chairman of the board.

Greg Treadway has joined Automobile Atlanta as its director of marketing and public relations. He will head the mail order business as well as online development.

Lands’ End named John Fetters its senior national account executive of corporate sales. He will be responsible for marketing to the hospitality industry and will report to Rich Harney, Lands’ End’s national account manager, corporate sales.

The Parcel Shippers Association selected James Myers to assume the responsibilities of executive vice president on Jan. 1, 1999, upon the retirement of current executive vice president, Jim Jellison.

Julie Webb joined Madison International as account manager. Her duties will include sales of supercalendered and LWC #5 and #4 papers, and service and support of Madison’s East coast clients. In addition, Madison announces three hires: Sandra McCollor as PC network specialist, Spencer Drury as paper machine #3 manager, and Daniel Mallett as environmental engineer.

Abacus announced two promotions and five additions: Kathy Thorpe to associate manager, client acquisition, from research account executive; Rebecca Clagett to data management coordinator from shipping coordinator; Erika Vie-Carpenter as client acquisition support; Sean Prior, Brian Ickes, and Michael Wiley as data management coordinators; Robert Weatherman as tap librarian; and Melissa McParland as shipping coordinator.

Safety products cataloger Seton announces two appointments: David Giroux to its director of marketing, and Nancy Wagner to the director of international business development. Giroux is responsible for catalog marketing, product development and business development. Wagner is responsible for researching global markets and launching new international business startups.

Joseph Prince was named vice president of marketing, distribution group, at Gould Paper. He was previously vice president of coated paper sales and marketing and vice president of national sales at Ris paper.

DIMAC Marketing has announced the following appointments: Carol Belt, to account supervisor; Greg Allerdissen, to supervisor, financial reporting; Jill Bloomquist, to account supervisor, program management; and Sandra Viscuso, to supervisor, accounting systems.

Joe Kingan was named vice president and division director of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co.’s Mattoon, IL division. He was been with R.R. Donnelley since 1983, in a variety of engineering and operational management positions.

AZ Marketing has promoted Tim Falvey to vice president/accounts manager of list management and Jill Greto to director of research and quantitative analysis.

George Little Management (GLM) named Lynn White show manager of its special sections at the Dallas National Gift and Decorative Accessories Show. White was show manager for the Boston Gift Show at GLM.

Robert Fitzpatrick was promoted to marketing systems manager in the sales and marketing division of Consolidated Papers, from executive sales representative in the publication sales department.

S&S Worldwide has named David Trachtenberg its director of merchandising. He will oversee expansion into key markets, and direct merchandising and product development.

Gloria Salvanelli joined Evergreen Advertising & Marketing as account supervisor. She was formerly marketing manager for Deck House.

Steve DeFilippis joined the management group of PARCEL/DIRECT, a parcel delivery division of printer Quad/Graphics. His previous position was vice president of sales support and service quality at UPS.

Michael Iaccarino joined Epsilon, a direct marketing service company, as vice president, finance, and chief financial officer. His previous position was senior audit manager of the technology industry group at Price Waterhouse.

Prestige International promoted Sharon Barnett to senior vice president, Prestige Global Solutions. She was formerly vice president of sales and marketing for the U.S. market.

John Piccarreto joined Printing Developments (PDI) as national accounts sales manager. He will be responsible for sales of PDI products to customers with multiple facilities.

Brian Williamson was named strategic planning director of HLB, a U.K.-based list company. His previous position was circulation manager at The Mark Group.
