Norwalk, CT-based computer cataloger Micro Warehouse has appointed Kirby Myers to the newly created position of president, North American operations. He will be responsible for the company’s U.S. business-to-business and consumer sales as well as head up Micro Warehouse’s Canadian subsidiary. Myers recently was executive vice president of European operations for Insight Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insight Enterprises.

Gifts cataloger/retailer Things Remembered, a subsidiary of Mayfield Heights, OH-based Cole National Corp., has appointed Susan H. Davidson as senior vice president, merchandise and marketing. Davidson joins Things Remembered from Zale Corp. Dodgeville, WI-based apparel and home goods cataloger Lands’ End has appointed five vice presidents. Karen Centner was promoted to vice president/general merchandising manager for e-commerce and international; Karl Dahlen was promoted to vice president/senior legal officer; Tom Gloudeman was promoted to vice president for recruitment and development; Randy Peterson was promoted to vice president for engineering and facilities services; and Robert F. McElroy was appointed vice president/general merchandising manager, home division.

Apparel and home goods cataloger/retailer Eddie Bauer, a subsidiary of Downers Grove, IL-based Spiegel Group, has appointed Engle E. Saez senior vice president/chief creative officer. He will also serve as a member of the Eddie Bauer executive cabinet. Saez comes to Eddie Bauer from Starbucks Coffee Co., where he served as senior vice president of marketing and category management.

Dale Fujimoto has joined Baseball Express, a San Antonio, TX-based direct marketer of baseball and softball equipment, as its vice president of marketing.

Multititle apparel and home goods cataloger Brylane has appointed Michael G. Shannon to the newly created position of chief operating officer. Shannon comes to New York-based Brylane from Toys ‘R’ Us, where he was president of worldwide logistics and administration.

New York-based teen apparel cataloger Alloy has appointed Andrew Belth its director of database sales. Most recently he was senior account executive for Merkle Direct Marketing’s Data Solutions Group.

Dave Needham was named CEO of Chicago-based direct marketing data solutions provider MarketsOnDemand. He had been the executive vice president of operations. Needham replaces Peter Mason, who remains chairman of the board and a primary stakeholder in the company.

Encinitas, CA-based list firm Infocore has named Maureen Grady director of sales. She joins Infocore from Mokrynski & Associates, where she was a sales executive.

Westlake Village, CA-based cataloger/retailer Guitar Center, whose properties include instruments catalog Musician’s Friend, has appointed Dr. Larry Livingston to its board of directors. Livingston has been dean of the USC Flora L. Thornton School of Music since 1986.

Dallas-based luxury goods cataloger/retailer Neiman Marcus Group has appointed Carl Sewell, chairman of Sewell Automotive Cos., to its board of directors.
