New York-based marketing company Euro RSCG Worldwide has appointed Iain Ferguson CEO of Euro RSCG’s global marketing services group, a unit of Euro RSCG Worldwide. Prior to this appointment, Ferguson was CEO Europe of Euro RSCG Marketing Services.

Hackensack, NJ-based list management firm Mokrynski & Associates has promoted Brandee Kerber and Caroline Gensone to sales executives in the list management division. Kerber joined the company as a sales representative, coming from list management firm NRL. Gensone joined the company as a CSR in the brokerage division.

Seattle-based multichannel marketer Nordstrom named Mike Koppel chief financial officer. Most recently, Koppel was vice president and corporate controller for the company and has been the acting chief financial officer since September.

Rye, NY-based list management company The Lake Group has appointed Marilou Owens senior brokerage account executive. Prior to joining The Lake Group, Owens served as director of subscription marketing for U.S. News and World Report and Fast Co. magazines. She also held similar positions with Reader’s Digest and Time.

King of Prussia, PA-based specialty retailer of toys, books, and multimedia products Zany Brainy has named Thomas G. Vellios CEO. Most recently, Vellios has served as president and acting CEO and a member of its board of directors. Previously, he served as executive vice president of marketing and merchandising.

Mt. Laurel, NJ-based paper distributor Roosevelt Paper Co., has announced that Matthew Zec has joined the inside sales staff at its Chicago division facility in Forest Park, IL. Zec comes to the company from the computer hardware and supplies industry.

New York-based media and marketing company Meredith Corp. appointed Patti Chapman to head the expansion of its enhanced group sales function, Meredith Corporate Solutions, in Detroit. Prior to this appointment, Chapman was the company’s mideastern manager of Better Homes and Gardens.

New York-based The Coastal Group, a global agency specializing in advertising, marketing, catalog services, direct mail and public relations, has named Sandy Cooper vice president of business development. Most recently, Cooper was managing director of e-business strategy for Channell Communications.

Pottstown, PA-based cataloger of automotive supplies The Eastwood Co. named Elise Yore Branca director of marketing, catalog and Internet. Branca was most recently divisional vice president, catalog, at Jos. A Bank Clothiers.

Hauppauge, NY-based Antares ITI, a provider of data processing services and volume direct mail for Fortune 500 and other top companies, has appointed Timothy E. Humenic senior marketing representative. Previously, Humenic has worked for International Paper, Westvaco Envelope Division and New England Envelope.

Weehawken, NJ-based marketing services company ClientLogic promoted Kim Fitzgerald and Darlene Muscarella to client management directors in the brokerage division. Fitzgerald has been with company since 1996 handling clients such as Boardroom and Paradigm Direct. Muscarella has been with the company since 1993, handling clients such as Rodale and Rappaport Publishing.

Chicago-based Retail and Advertising Association (RAMA), a division of the National Retail Federation and sponsor of the annual Retail Advertising Conference (RAC), named Tom Holliday president, succeeding RAMA founder/CEO Douglas Raymond.

New York-based NetCreations, a provider of opt-in e-mail marketing services, has named David Todd Waldman vice president of business development and promoted sales account executives Timothy J. Skennion and Robert Petrausch to national directors. Most recently, Waldman served as managing director at Impower. Prior to joining NetCreations, Skennion held positions at Mal Dunn Associates and List Technology Systems Group. Before joining NetCreations in the business development group, Petrausch worked for Intellexchange.

Pearl River, NY-based list management firm Edith Roman Associates appointed children’s list specialist Kayle Plotkin vice president. Prior to joining the company, Plotkin was vice president in charge of list management at list firm D-J Associates.

Fort Worth, TX-based specialty furniture retailer/direct marketer The Bombay Co. appointed John H. Costello to its board of directors. Costello is president/CEO of MVP.COM. Prior to that position, he served as president of AutoNation, an automotive retailing and rental car company.

Food cataloger The Popcorn Factory, which is a division of Westerly, RI-based The Paragon Holdings, has hired Kent Arett as president. Previously, Arett was president of Mammoth, a golf equipment Internet company which bought the Austad’s golf catalog in 1999, and went bankrupt late last year.

Houston, TX-based e-commerce corporate and personal gifts and rewards site Ashford.com named David Gow CEO. Gow replaces Kenny Kurtzman, who has been named vice chairman of its board of directors. Gow has also been appointed to company’s board of directors. Most recently, Gow has served as the company’s chief financial officer, and has also been the leader of Ashford.com’s Corporate Gift Sales division.

Tualatin, OR-based electronic products designer and marketer Oregon Scientific, a division of electronics manufacturers, Integrated Display Technology, appointed Brian I. Rubinstein national sales manager. Most recently, Rubinstein was the national sales manager for Team Concepts North America.

Roslyn Heights, NY-based marketing agency Impressions has named Leonard E. Bacharach vice president account supervisor. Most recently, Bacharach was director of marketing communications at Con Edison Solutions.

New York-based sales and marketing organization Comag Marketing Group LLC, a joint venture of Condé Nast Publications and The Hearst Corp., appointed Jeffrey A. David senior director, news group/corporate, and Andrew (Drew) Bynum director of sales, ANCO East. Prior to joining CMG in 1999, David was director of sales for TV Guide Distribution.

Medford, OR-based CDS Documentation, a Kelmscott Communications company, appointed Steve Brown vice president and general manager. Prior to joining CDS, Brown was vice president of sales for the western region at Banta Book Group. Before Banta, he was a sales representative with the technology book manufacturing division of Bertelsmann Industry Services.
