Sandpoint, ID-based cataloger Coldwater Creek has appointed Matthew Dillon vice president and director of merchandising. Most recently, Dillon served as senior vice president of merchandising and marketing for The Mark Group.
Fort Myers, FL-based apparel cataloger/retailer Chico’s FAS appointed Ajit Patel chief information officer. Patel has more than nine years of experience overseeing information technology in the retail sector, including seven years with Authentic Fitness Corp./Speedo. Merrimack, NH-based PC Connection appointed Joseph A. Baute to its board of directors. Baute has served on the board of Houghton-Mifflin Co. and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he was chairman. He is currently on the board of State Street Bank Europe.
Dayton, OH-based Scitex Digital Printing appointed Tom H. Huang senior scientist in the area of ink development, and Eric K. Wilson market manager for ink and substrates. Prior to joining Scitex, Huang’s experience includes engineering and service with Flint Ink and MEMS. Previously, Wilson held positions with Domino Amjet and Kester Solder.
San Francisco-based Gap appointed Ron Beegle, head of the company’s online division, to the new role of Gap division chief operating officer. Mike Tucci, head of men’s merchandising for Gap, succeeds Beegle as executive vice president of Gap Direct, taking responsibility for the company’s Internet-commerce sites and Banana Republic catalog. Nancy Green, senior vice president of women’s merchandising for the Gap division, will be responsible for all Gap men’s and women’s merchandising.
Quincy, MA-based J. Jill Group appointed Jonathan P. Ward, president/CEO of The ServiceMaster Co., to its board of directors. Ward joined The ServiceMaster Co. as president/CEO in February. Previously, he served as president/chief operating officer for The R.R. Donnelly & Sons Co.
