CDW Government, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vernon Hills, IL-based CDW Computer Centers, has named Kevin Adams vice president of program management. Adams will be responsible for managing government and educational customer programs and will oversee existing contract relations. Prior to joining CDW Government, Adams was vice president of program management for GTSI, a technology supplier to the government.

Warren, PA-based apparel and home products cataloger Blair Corp. has appointed Bryan J. Flanagan vice president/chief financial officer. In this newly created position, Flanagan will oversee all financial functions. Prior to joining Blair, Flanagan served as chief financial officer/chief operating officer of Mattress Discounters.

Sandpoint, ID-based women’s apparel cataloger/retailer Coldwater Creek has appointed Melvin Dick executive vice president/chief financial officer. Dick was formerly a senior partner with Arthur Andersen, where he was the global managing partner of Andersen’s technology, media, and communications practice.

New York-based multititle catalog mailer Brylane has appointed Mark Friedman chief marketing officer. He will be responsible for developing Brylane’s corporate marketing initiatives, which include leading the e-commerce, consumer research, and database and business development functions. Prior to joining Brylane, Friedman was chief marketing officer for Brooks Brothers.

Kevin J. Price has joined Hackensack, NJ-based list firm Mokrynski & Associates as director of fundraising. Price was previously the director of business development of list services for Richmond, VA-based list firm Huntsinger & Jeffer.

Marnie Rose has launched New York-based Marnie Rose Agency, which represents graphic artists. Rose was previously senior manager for creative services at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Her clients’ work has appeared in catalogs and other direct mail pieces for Crate & Barrel, Martha by Mail, Williams-Sonoma, and Lands’ End, among others.

Greenwich, CT-based NewRoads, an outsourcer of catalog fulfillment and customer care services, has brought Robert C. Grayson onto its retail industry team. Grayson will serve the company as a special adviser, supporting NewRoads’ growth initiatives in assisting retailers and other consumer products companies in optimizing their direct-to-consumer businesses. Grayson is a former CEO of apparel cataloger/retailers Limited Stores and Lerner New York.

List firm ALC of New York has hired Pattie Olivieri as vice president, consumer brokerage. Olivieri had been employed by Direct Media since 1987.
