Multititle mailer Lillian Vernon Corp. has expanded its business-to-business division with the addition of three staffers. The Rye, NY-based cataloger hired Brian Mangione as general manager of the division; he was previously executive vice president of sales and marketing for Bogner of America. Ron Creamer was hired as an account executive based in Virginia Beach, VA. He was previously a regional sales manager for Glass Baron. And Michael Levine is now an account executive operating out of Henderson, NV. He had been director of sales and marketing for Great American Cookie Co.

New York-based Federated Direct, the direct-to-consumer division of Federated Department Stores, appointed Marilyn Carracino senior vice president for merchandising of Bloomingdale’s Direct. Carracino joins Federated Direct from Saks Fifth Avenue, where she served as senior vice president of Sak’s Folio and saksfifthavenue.com for the past two years.

Melville, NY-based medical, dental, and veterinary supplies cataloger Henry Schein has made several changes to its senior European management team. David Dunlop has been named vice president of supply chain for Henry Schein Europe, responsible for procurement as well as the European corporate brands. David Hilton joins the company as vice president of information services for its European operations. Patrick Saasen, vice president of business operations for Henry Schein Europe, has been appointed to the senior management team and will oversee the development and integration of Schein’s technology systems.

Shrewsbury, NJ-based Programmer’s Paradise, which sells software for IT professionals, promoted Simon Nynens to chief financial officer. He was previously vice president/chief operating officer of the company’s European operations.

Cody S. McGarraugh was named chief financial officer of Longmont, CO-based multititle mailer Concepts Direct. McGarraugh had been first vice president of equity research with Stifel, Nicolaus & Co.

Vernon Hills, IL-based CDW Computer Centers made the following executive promotions: Harry J. Harczak Jr. to executive vice president, sales; Jonathan J. Stevens to chief information officer; and Robert Welyki to treasurer. Additionally, Barbara Klein joins the company as senior vice president/chief financial officer, and Christine A. Leahy joins as vice president/general counsel/corporate secretary. Gregory C. Zeman will no longer serve as vice chairman; he will continue to act as an adviser to the company and remain a member of the board of directors. Daniel B. Kass will transition from executive vice president, sales to an executive vice president position concentrating on improving the company’s competitive position.

Hingham, MA-based apparel cataloger/retailer Talbots promoted Cynthia Murray to the new position of senior vice president, merchandising. Murray was previously vice president/general merchandise manager for the company’s misses and petites apparel businesses. In her new role, she assumes responsibility for those businesses as well as for merchandising of Talbots Woman and Talbots Accessories & Shoes.

Downers Grove, IL-based general merchant The Spiegel Group promoted Mark Staudinger from vice president of direct media to vice president of marketing. The company also named Paul Keur vice president of sourcing and production; he was managing director of sourcing for Spiegel’s Eddie Bauer International division. And the company’s New York-based women’s apparel catalog Newport News has promoted Geralynn Madonna to president/chief operating officer. Most recently executive vice president, merchandising and advertising, Madonna assumes the responsibility for marketing in addition to merchandising and advertising.
