Lonoke, AR-based pet supplies marketer PetQuarters has promoted Mike Kelly to president. Most recently, Kelly was the company’s executive vice president, overseeing PetQuarters’ Hazleton, PA-based operations.

Downers Grove, IL-based The Spiegel Group named Robert H. Sorensen vice president/general counsel/corporate secretary. Most recently Sorensen was senior vice president/general counsel/secretary for Midas.

New York-based Riddell Sports promoted Jeff Webb from president/chief operating officer of its Memphis-based Varsity Spirit Division to president/CEO, replacing David Mauer. Mauer has stepped down as CEO and a board member following the sale of the company’s Team Sports division to Lincolnshire Management.

North Bergen, NJ-based Vitamin Shoppe Industries, a cataloger/retailer of nutritional supplements, named Thomas Tolworthy president/chief operating officer. Tolworthy was previously president of Barnes & Noble Bookstores.

Delray Beach, FL-based Office Depot appointed Rick A. Lepley president, Office Depot-Japan. Most recently Lepley was president of Office Depot-Eastern Europe, during which time he opened the first Office Depot superstore on the European continent.

Ridgefield, CT-based list company D-J Associates promoted Lisa Morris to director of sales, list management. Prior to joining the company in 1993, Morris was with list firm Direct Media.

Dallas-based The Neiman Marcus Group appointed James E. Skinner senior vice president/chief financial officer. He was most recently senior vice president/chief financial officer of CapRock Communications Corp. The company also promoted Marita O’Dea to vice president, human resources. She will retain her responsibilities as senior vice president, human resources of Neiman Marcus Stores in addition to her new duties.

Phoenix-based pet supplies cataloger/retailer PetSmart named James R. Daniel senior vice president/chief financial officer. Most recently, Daniel worked as a senior-level consultant for leading companies in a variety of industries.

New York-based MSGi Direct has named Karen Goldfarb vice president of list sales. She was most recently vice president of e-mail brokerage at Whitehat.

KnowledgeBase Marketing, a Richardson, TX-based provider of CRM and other marketing solutions, named Heidi Lanford senior vice president, analytical services. She was previously with Executive Marketing Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Reno, NV-based wireless devices cataloger iGo Corp. appointed Scott Shackelton senior vice president of finance/chief financial officer. Previously, Shackelton was vice president/treasurer/assistant secretary for Sharegate.

San Francisco-based Gap appointed Terry Kramer to the new role of chief operating officer for the Banana Republic division. Previously, Kramer held numerous senior leadership positions at AirTouch. And Julie Rosen was promoted to senior vice president, merchandising, planning, and production for Banana Republic. She was previously the cataloger/retailer’s vice president of women’s merchandising.
