Wild Wings To Close or Sell Six of its Eight Stores to Focus on Catalog

Lake City, MN--Gifts cataloger/retailer Wild Wings plans to close or sell six of its eight stores by July 1 to concentrate on its catalog and wholesale operations. The company will hang on to its stores in Lake City and North Branch, MN. "We were spread too thin as a company," CEO Randy Eggenberger said in a statement. "We are not a large company with unlimited resources." Wild Wings mails 9 million catalogs a year and supplies some 2,000 wholesalers in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
