Toys R Us Lays Out New Omnichannel Strategy

Toys R Us Reports Grim Third Quarter Results

Toys R Us’ sales continue to decline and the net loss is continuing to grow in the third quarter, according to its earnings release. Comparable store net sales were down 5.2% in the domestic segment primarily resulting from decreases in the learning, juvenile (including baby) and core toy categories.

Urcelay Promoted to CEO at Toys R Us

Toys R Us has taken the Interim tag off Antonio Urcelay and named him CEO on Oct. 16. The merchant also announced that former ServiceMaster and Walmart executive Hank Mullany has been named president, Toys R Us, U.S., effective Nov. 5.
