Macy’s-Google Partnership Pushes Local Offers to Customers

For customers looking for an item in a jiffy, a quick Google search on a smartphone will lead them to the nearest Macy’s location, according to Advertising Age.

This month, shoppers can search for an item on their smartphone, and see what’s stocked at their nearest Macy’s location. Along the images of the products are product details like price, size and color, directions to the store and a link to the item on Macy’s website.
The program works with Google’s proximity marketing platform in an effort to drive sales in stores and online during the holiday shopping season.
