Sales from online bookseller Barnes & Noble.com increased 1% to $106.1 million for the nine-week period ended Dec. 31. Barnes & Noble store sales were $1.1 billion, a 5% increase from last year. Comparable store sales increased 2%, in line with guidance. Sales at subsidiary B. Dalton were $41.3 million, a decline of 18% from the same period in fiscal 2004, due to store closings. Comparable store sales increased 3%.
