Harrison, NY-based database marketing services I-Behavior was awarded a U.S. patent for its cooperative database software. The company says that Dynamic Data Link software is capable of accurately integrating online and off-line buyer records. The database consolidates the “best data available” regardless of where it originates to offer a more well-rounded picture of each consumer’s buying behavior.
According to I-Behavior, Dynamic Data Link represents a major improvement over traditional merge/purge software because it can automate database updates using a customizable, multitiered dynamic match process that incorporates e-mail addresses as one of the key match elements. The patent was awarded based on the fact that Direct Data Link is currently the only package capable of accurately identifying the individual behind multiple e-mail addresses.
