Men’s apparel cataloger/retailer Jos. A. Bank Clothiers (Nasdaq NM: JOSB) closed out the fourth quarter and its year in style. Net income for the year ended Feb. 1 was $10.9 million, a 68% increase from $6.5 million for fiscal 2001. Annual sales increased 15%, to a record $243.4 million. Combined catalog and Web sales increased 23%.
Net income for the quarter ended Feb.1 was $6.4 million, up 45% from $4.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2001. Total fourth-quarter sales increased 16%, to $77.9 million from $67.3 million.
