Michael C. Fina Transforming Into Online-Only Retailer

NEW YORK (April 4, 2016) – Today Michael C. Fina, the world renowned luxury tableware, engagement jewelry and wedding registry resource, announced the next chapter in its more than 80-year legacy, transforming into an online-only retailer.

Starting April 16, the selection of high-quality jewelry, tableware and home décor products that generations have sought for weddings and special occasions will only be found online at MichaelCFina.com.

As part of the transition to become an online-only retailer, Michael C. Fina will close its retail location at 500 Park Avenue effective April 16.

Additionally, Michael C. Fina’s Wedding Registry will now reach more couples than ever before through a partnership with Zola, an online wedding registry. Couples who register at Michael C. Fina will now do so through Zola, and existing couples will have their registries moved over to the site to enhance their experience.

MichaelCFina.com launched in the early days of ecommerce and was among the first retailers to offer an online wedding registry, as well as an omnichannel inventory approach. The brand further embraced the internet by extending its presence through an early partnership with The Knot. Partnering with Zola to enhance couples’ registry experience and working is the next natural evolution of the business and ensures that Michael C. Fina products and services are available to customers, wherever and however they shop.

As part of this partnership, Michael C. Fina will work with Zola to offer a robust selection of more than 50 brands and 1,500 different items from Michael C. Fina’s luxury tableware catalog including Simon Pearce, George Jensen and L’Objet. Additionally, Michael C. Fina’s wedding registry experience will now be exclusively powered by Zola.com. Couples registering at MichaelCFina.com will be directed to Zola.com.
