PetFlow Reinvents Digital Pet Store Experience

PetFlowSpecialty pet food and supplies seller PetFlow has unveiled a new digital retail experience to redefine the way pet parents can care for their four-legged loved ones.

Guided by its new mission, which is centered on “Good Foods” and “Good Deeds,” PetFlow has rebuilt a state-of-the-art digital pet store, complete with a fresh design and look, to connect consumers to a wide range of specialty pet products, offer personalized advice and enable shoppers to improve the lives of their own pets as well as those of animals in need.

The newly revamped PetFlow.com, which combines the personal interaction of in-store shopping with the benefits of digital technology, also provides a richer consumer experience with individualized support, including live chats with other pet parents who are extensively trained to provide data-driven recommendations based on each customer’s specific needs.

“After six years and millions of deliveries, we took a step back and asked our customers how we could do more,” said PetFlow Chief Executive Officer Michael Lackman. “The new PetFlow is built around what our customers told us. PetFlow has also introduced a charitable initiative called, “Good Deeds.” The Good Deeds program donates one bowl of food to a pet in need for every box the company ships to customers. The company began the program in October 2015 and has already provided thousands of meals to animals waiting to be adopted into new families.

By partnering with pet food brands and rescue organizations, PetFlow is helping to nourish pets who are in their most vulnerable state while educating consumers about rescuing pets, with the ultimate goal of helping to place more animals in loving homes.
