Stamford, CT–Foster & Gallagher (F&G) hobbles on. A firm called Legato Partners has been granted permission from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware to “fulfill certain Spring Hill and Breck’s backlog orders, and ship Spring Hill and Breck’s catalog orders.” This is the first news regarding specific F&G titles since the horticultural marketer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 2. And according to F&G spokesperson Doug Morris, Legato Partners is planning to put Spring Hill and Breck’s back in the mail for the fall.
And for you all would-be acquirers interested in picking up a title or two, circle Aug. 17 on your calendars: That’s the last date to submit your bids to the bankruptcy court for F&G catalogs. The auction is slated for Aug. 21.
