AmazonFresh Expands to the U.K.

While several U.S. cities have yet to reap the benefits of AmazonFresh, several reports are indicating the grocery delivery service will begin expanding overseas to the U.K. as early as September of this year.

SingPost and Alibaba Group to Expand Ecommerce Logistics Cooperation

SingPost and Alibaba Group have taken the next step to establish end-to-end ecommerce logistics platform. Alibaba is investing in Quantium Solutions International, a SingPost subsidiary, and SingPost and Alibaba Group will enter into joint strategic business development framework to improve efficiency and integration in ecommerce logistics.

Shoppers Choose Cost Over Delivery Speed on Cross-border Purchases

The survey found that 76% of Canadian consumers who made an online purchase from a U.S.-based retailer within the last six months, as well as 63% of U.S. online shoppers, identified shipping costs as very important; while 44% and 32%, respectively, said it was the single most important factor.
