The Czech government continues to talk to Amazon about a potential second distribution center in the Czech Republic, as it begins construction on a 1 million square foot distribution center in Dobrovíz, near Prague, according to the Prague Post. That facility will be completed by July 2015.

A proposal to build a FedEx distribution center near Buffalo, NY has cleared its last bureaucratic hurdle, as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has given its wetlands review to the town of Hamburg, NY, according to the Memphis Business Journal.

Dr. Pepper Snapple Group has signed a long-term lease for a 377,000-square-foot building now under construction in an industrial complex in Oak Cliff, TX, for a new distribution center, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Online retailer Zulily is planning a distribution center in an 800,000-square-foot warehouse in Bethlehem, PA that was formerly occupied by Bethlehem Steel Corp., according to Lehigh Valley Live.

Amazon plans to open a new distribution center in Concord, NC, the first in the state. It will be located near the Concord Regional Airport, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Youth apparel retailer Five Below broke ground on a 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Oldmans, NJ, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer. The company will initially occupy 750,000 square feet and have room to grow.
