Here is Multichannel Merchant’s periodic listing of recent distribution center and fulfillment center activity in the domestic market:

Seventeen months after logistics developer Prologis scrubbed a planned 1.3 million-square-foot warehouse in Auburndale, FL amidst local opposition, the company is proposing a scaled back, 1-million-square-foot facility.

Two spec warehouse facilities, one 93,000 square feet and a second at 374,000 square feet, are being proposed in Jacksonville, FL near its airport.

A $25 million, 675,000-square-foot DC is being planned for Winnebago County, IL, with an as-yet unnamed tenant.

A two-building distribution and fulfillment center totaling more than 400,000 square feet is planned on spec in Kyle, TX south of Austin, driven by ecommerce and logistics demand in the area.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is planning a 245,000-square-foot addition to its distribution center in Conklin, NY, which just opened in January.

Macy’s plans to build a new distribution center near Rickenbacker Airport in Columbus, OH to support its Backstage off-price stores in the area, which it plans to open in the fall of 2019.

Amazon is reportedly planning a new distribution center in Tulsa, OK, and is in talks with city officials.
