UPS launched its Proactive Response Secure service on June 26, which promises to monitor shipments and is considered a risk management solution that will protect customers against any lost profits, according to a press release.
UPS says this new service will assist in making sure time and temperature-sensitive shipments reach their destination. The service will also help when unexpected events occur including weather delays.
This service will be available in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
