CrowdANALYTIX CEO Addresses AI and Product Data at 2018 Digital Convergence Forum

Sunnyvale, Calif., July 20, 2018 — Divyabh Mishra, founder and CEO of innovative AI startup CrowdANALYTIX, recently spoke at the 2018 Digital Convergence Forum’s roundtable discussion about how AI can be used to improve the trustworthiness of product data at scale. The conference was hosted by GS1 US, an information standards organization that improves supply chain visibility and efficiency for 300,000 businesses across 25 industries.

Joining Divyabh on the panel were Ram Rampalli, global head of content acquisition at Walmart, and Robert Tercek, president and founder of General Creativity. The trio engaged in a wide-ranging and forward-thinking discussion about the ways in which AI and machine learning technology are helping omnichannel retailers manage massive volumes of quality product data with greater scale, accuracy, and efficiency.

CrowdANALYTIX, founded in 2012 by Mishra, a veteran technology executive, is the creator of dataX.ai, a first-of-its-kind AI-driven platform that automatically generates product attributes and meta tags for omnichannel retail catalogs. The platform enables catalog managers to spend one-tenth of the time cleaning up and organizing supplier product data, allowing retailers to onboard new products much faster and at a fraction of the human labor cost. It also dramatically increases data quality by reducing the amount of erroneous and incomplete product information, which has historically led to low conversion rates, frequent product returns and cart abandonment.

The company grew by 120 percent this quarter and is expected to continue building sales momentum for the remainder of 2018. CrowdANALYTIX currently has long-term subscription deals with a range of top retailers around the world, including a multinational supermarket chain, a leading home improvement retailer in the U.S., a consumer packaged goods conglomerate, and a global supply chain manager based in Hong Kong. CrowdANALYTIX has seen a surge in demand this quarter and are currently executing more than 18 proof of concepts.

“Today’s omnichannel retailers are tasked with the immense challenge of managing product data for hundreds of thousands to millions of SKUs,” Mishra said. “This is a job that simply exceeds human capacity. We successfully deliver high-quality product content for more than 10 million SKUs each day using our suite of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.”
