Mad Mobile launched “Hello Customer” at NRF 2018 in New York, a feature within the Concierge clienteling solution that alerts store associates when a customer has entered the store location. Concierge is used in the retail locations of retailers that include Talbot’s, Vans, Timberland, The North Face, Books-A-Million, and Helzberg Diamonds.
Hello Customer leverages the BLE signal that emits from Apple iOS devices in radar mode to identify new and loyal customers that enter the store, with no beacons or additional hardware needed. Customers are welcomed with a text message and store associates on the floor are immediately alerted with the customer’s full profile. Using the Concierge application, associates receive a customer’s purchasing history and preferences right at their fingertips, to quickly access available inventory and provide immediate style and delivery options. In addition, Hello Customer’s unique “In-Store Cookie” updates the customer’s online profile with products they considered within the store.
“The new Hello Customer feature of Concierge enables retailers to identify customers as they walk in the store and connect them with mobile associates on the floor, said Greg Schmitzer, President, Mad Mobile. “From there, Concierge provides store associates with the information they need to deliver a personal shopping experience for the customer. A complete view of the customer and available products right at their fingertips. When the customer is not in the store, associates use Concierge to engage with customers via text or email to send product ideas, invitations, and personal buy links. That’s how our retail customers are selling 20-30% more in store.”
Mad Mobile’s Concierge is a mobile retail platform that connects store associates with valuable customer and product information from enterprise systems (ECOM, ERP, CRM, DOM, POS) to unleash powerful functionality for clienteling, assisted selling, and mPOS.
