National Business Furniture Launches OfficeChairs.com

In its first major move since being acquired by K+K America in January, National Business Furniture has launched a spin-off Website, OfficeChairs.com.

The Website joins a slew of other URLs already operated by the 30-year-old company, including FurnitureOnline.com, OfficeFurniture.com, DallasMidwest.com, and AlfaxFurniture.com. In addition to its Websites, National Business Furniture targets the school, church, and home office markets through three catalog titles and a national sales team.

OfficeChairs.com offers a huge selection of—no surprise here—office chairs, from computer chairs to leather office chairs to chairs suitable for big and tall occupants.

“The idea and the seed [of OfficeChairs.com] was always present well before the acquisition by K+K America,” says Cindy Blue, vice president of marketing. National Business Furniture has owned the URL for a year. “What it did allow us to do was streamline our processes to get down that path of delving deeper in categories and customer segments in a more cost-effective manner.”

A print catalog, Blue says, has not been discussed. K+K’s other catalogs include Conney Safety and Hubert.
