Hillsboro, OR—CATALOG AGE has learned that Hillsboro, OR-based gifts and apparel cataloger Norm Thompson Outfitters has bought $3 million Lake Oswego, OR-based gifts cataloger Waterfront Living. Norm Thompson has provided back-end fulfillment services for Waterfront Living for nearly two years. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Waterfront Living founder Mark Roberts will continue running the catalog.
“We see this a separate niche business similar to our Early Winters and Solutions catalogs,” says Craig Dewey, senior vice president of catalogs for Norm Thompson. “It made sense for us because we already had the back-end systems in place. Now we have to do some branding work on the front-end.”
