Using Local Product Search, a consumer’s location is established while visiting a brand’s product pages. Based on available store inventory feeds, nearby stores are instantly identified, indicating where the item is in-stock or out-of-stock. It also identifies additional local stores that may carry the product. Consumers activate the Finderbot technology by entering their mobile phone number and clicking “Find it for Me.” Finderbot makes real-time stock requests to retailers without inventory feeds, aggregates responses, and displays them on a web page that is both mobile and desktop friendly. A text message containing a link to localized search results is pushed out to consumers in real-time as stores respond to Finderbot’s inventory requests.
