Regis Launches ShopRegis Tab on UK Site

ShopRegis in a responsive siteRegis has launched its first ecommerce site in the United Kingdom, ShopRegis, to sell products available and gift cards redeemable in Regis’ UK salons.

Designed and developed by Regis creative and digital partner Photolink, the idea was to create a site that would bring the first-class salon experience online and affirm the national brand as leaders in the industry and experts in hair and beauty care.

The new ShopRegis tab allows customers to shop by stylist recommendation, desired effect and hair concern, such as thinning, ageing and damaged hair. Hair brands for launch include Kerastase, Redken, Sebastian, SP, Moroccanoil, Fudge and ghd with lots more to follow over the next few months. The site also sells a number of beauty brands including Fake Bake, OPI and Sothy’s.

Both sites are also built using responsive design, meaning information and shopping on the move is also available on tablets and smartphones.

The existing http://www.regissalons.co.uk site will remain an information hub, allowing customers to find their nearest salon, hair inspirations and read up on upcoming trends and the latest news and events.

“We wanted to create a unique online shopping experience for our customers, combining the purchase process with the expertise of our team, so we are thrilled to launch Regis’ first ecommerce website,” says Jenny Smith, marketing manager for Regis UK. “At the same time, we wanted to make sure the site also supports our salons as we are still dedicated to driving business to the high street. Therefore, the future launch of e-gift cards, redeemable against hair and beauty services and products in-salon, is particularly exciting.”

To spark omnichannel traffic, Smith says Regis UK is also offering £5 for every new online customer on the site, which they will be able to redeem in one of its 140 UK salons.
