Abney said UPS must enhance its processes and standards necessary to ensure timely and accurate communication, especially during periods of peak demand and network disruptions.
“Along with improve visibility for our customers, new package exception codes will be rolled out to improve tracking messages ultimately providing more clarity on shipment progress,” Abney said. “In addition proactive notifications will make it possible for our customers to adjust their plans.”
