The campaign: Black Box looked to generate new sales and pipeline opportunities for AV/digital signage line with the goal of $500,000 in sales. They also wanted to create a sustainable lead generation campaign with the goal of 1,500 downloads, and identify 100 new channel partner prospects with the goal of signing 25 new partners.

The result: The success of the campaign so far has been excellent. The campaign started in June 2012. Since then, sales account activity has tripled resulting in July 2012 being Black Box’s strongest month ever for AV/digital signage sales. Sustainable lead generation is capturing between 25 and 50 new names per week. In addition, Black Box achieved its goal of signing 25 new channel partners.

What the judges loved:
Gordon Magee: “Well integrated across channels. Messaging is thorough and consistent. Graphics tie things together channel to channel. Goals are clear and specific and quantifiable.”

Neal Schuler: “Consistent creative execution and messaging throughout all channels is effective. The campaign has energy – it communicates authority and fun in what could be a dry pitch.”

What could have been better:
Jaimey Wilman: “Only thing I was left wondering, was effectiveness and engagement with its various social media efforts you listed and your website landing page.”
