I had an opportunity to go on camera with Wayfair CEO and co-founder Niraj Shah last winter (see video above), and I’m excited to see Shah deliver a keynote on June 12 at IRCE.
Shah’s session is titled “Connecting with Consumers by Giving Them What They Want.” Shah will discuss the transformation of CSN Stores from hundreds of URLs into the unified one-stop-shop under the Wayfair brand name. Shah will explain the company’s strategy, what it took to turn the ship and how the new focus has helped the company deepen its bond with shoppers.
Wayfair has done some excellent things since I last talked with Shah. For example, its 55% revenue growth outpaced ecommerce giant Amazon. Wayfair also introduced a new brand, Birch Lane, and entered a pioneering partnership with Quill.
There was also the acquisition of DwellStudio in August, integration of a Pinterest-like clipboard feature, and, of course, record-setting Cyber Monday sales.
