New York—The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation on Tuesday night honored its Rising Stars for 2009. The awards were presented at a dinner here during the DM Days New York Conference & Expo.
This year’s four Rising Stars are: Michael Becker, vice president mobile strategies, mobile labs for iLoop Mobile; Gretchen Littlefield, president of Triplex Direct Marketing; Chuck Sharp, managing director of analytics and business intelligence for iCrossing; and David Ventresca, president Maghound Enterprises.
The DMEF’s Corporate Commitment Award winner this year is payment management service provider Litle & Co.
In accepting the award, company founder Tim Litle shed some insight as to where tomorrow’s DM stars might come from. He noted that Harvard University has agreed to offer a direct marketing course, which maybe will lead to a full DM curriculum.
