(NASDAQ: ASNA) today announced that Ali Wing has accepted the position of Chief Marketing Officer, EVP of Digital Commerce. Wing joins maurices after 10 years as CEO & Founder of giggle, a multichannel retailer, wholesaler and licenser of baby products. Wing has built giggle into a leading brand in the baby space.
Ali started her career with NIKE in marketing (NIKE women and sport casual) and later moved into corporate development (NIKE and NIKE International). Ali also built brand, marketing and digital strategies for a venture capital-backed multichannel retail concept called Gazoontite and went on to work with companies like G&J Publishing, Inc. to help build online brand strategies for parent/family brands in their portfolio prior to leaving to start giggle.
