Eurovision Sport Selects Ad Insertion Platform’s Monetization Solutions For Live Streaming

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, March 28, 2023 — Ad Insertion Platform (AIP), the market leading provider of ad insertion and monetization solutions for broadcast and OTT environments, has announced that Eurovision Sport, part of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), will use their SSAI solution, their CDN distribution and ad sales services for the video streaming of their Sport Digital Platform.

Through their innovative Sport Digital Platform – where the sports federation, broadcasters, and social platforms work together – Eurovision Sport aims to ensure that sport gains maximum exposure to new audiences worldwide to complement the coverage of EBU Members. In 2022, Ad Insertion Platform integrated their ad insertion technology and monetization services into AllAthletics.tv. Ad insertion Platform provides the US patented SSAI solution for all countries covered by EBU rights and integrates with EBU Members’ ad servers. AIP also provides the ad sales service, AIP Monetiz, for some specific countries where needed.

The collaboration will see both companies exploring monetization opportunities on digital content, unleashing an unparalleled opportunity for marketers globally. AIP has partnered with major SSP networks to create a new Ad Sales house unit that has been designed to “unleash” new video advertising opportunities while orchestrating and managing the programmatic ad sales process.

AIP has also provided their comprehensive Content Delivery Network (CDN) to optimize the delivery of All Athletics live sports streaming content. Using their flexible and scalable CDN solution, Eurovision Sport can deliver live All Athletics content on every screen, guaranteeing a superior quality of experience (QoE) for fans, members and stakeholders while reducing video streaming costs.
