StockX Expands Access to Suite of Seller Tools, Helping More Customers Grow Their Businesses

Detroit, Feb. 21, 2023 – StockX has expanded access to its comprehensive suite of seller tools, making it easier for sellers to work efficiently and scale their operations. The offerings – StockX Pro, Scout, and StockX Developers – provide a range of benefits including cross-platform selling, inventory management and bulk selling. While some features were available to select sellers as early as 2021, StockX is now providing broader access to the full suite of tools.

“As a two-sided marketplace, our sellers play a crucial role in our success,” said Russ Amidon, Senior Director of Account Management at StockX. “Millions of people have counted on StockX for access to in-demand products, and we’ve been able to deliver on that promise, in large part, because of our robust seller community. For that reason, we’re constantly working to enhance our systems and processes to further streamline the seller experience and foster growth in their businesses. When we help sellers drive velocity on our platform, the end result benefits buyers as well.”

More information on StockX’s suite of seller tools:

  • StockX Pro: StockX Pro is a bulk-management tool that allows customers to efficiently list, update, and sell multiple items on StockX. StockX Pro also offers critical market insights and pricing actions and features post-sale logistics support to help sellers more easily navigate the shipping process. First introduced in 2021 for sellers in the United States, StockX Pro is now available to high-volume sellers worldwide.
  • Scout: Scout unlocks cross-platform selling, allowing sellers to distribute their supply through multiple marketplaces. Additionally, Scout provides inventory management solutions to automate and simplify pricing and distribution. StockX acquired Scout in 2021, expanded the tool’s capabilities in 2022, and will make it accessible globally to all StockX sellers in 2023.
  • StockX Developers: StockX Developers, the company’s newest tool, further streamlines the selling experience on StockX. Geared toward established high-volume sellers, StockX Developers allows customers to integrate Seller, Order, and Catalog APIs and help to manage their businesses.

Each of the three products has its own unique features, which allow sellers to customize their approach based on what works best for them.

“StockX Pro has been a game-changer for my business,” said Mustafa Hamed, a longtime seller with StockX. “Just last night, I updated 1,218 listings in 25 minutes. It’s easy to use and saves me time. More importantly, it’s the reason I’m able to handle such bulk as a seller who works solo.”

Other benefits available to StockX sellers include:

  • Lower Fees and Bonuses: By selling more, users can lower their fees. Sellers can also qualify for additional discounts by adhering to standards that benefit the overall marketplace.
  • Early Payouts: Sellers that qualify for early payouts get paid as soon as they ship their items to a StockX authentication center.
  • Bulk Shipping: Bulk shipping allows customers to simplify their logistics by bundling their product shipments to StockX authentication centers. Additionally, StockX waives shipping fees for sellers who ship in bulk.

Since its launch in 2016, StockX has grown to serve customers in over 200 countries and territories around the world. The company closed 2022 with record-breaking revenue and trades and surpassed milestones including 12 million lifetime buyers, 40 million lifetime trades, and 1.5 million lifetime sellers. Despite a tough economic backdrop, hundreds of thousands of sellers made their first-ever sale on StockX in 2022. Additionally, international sellers accounted for nearly 50% of all StockX trades in 2022, and global growth remains a key focus for the platform in 2023.
