Austin, June 11, 2021 – Seattle-based vinyl cutter supplier USCutter is ready to deliver cutting-edge service to its expanding customer base following the retailer’s new partnership with Brightpearl.
The brand’s multichannel operations, which includes its webstore, two retail outlets and various marketplaces, will now be powered by Brightpearl.
USCutter will benefit from the power-coupling of Brightpearl and BigCommerce, which supports its existing webstore, in a smart move adopted by many ambitious retail brands who opt for the same winning ecommerce combo.
Headquartered in Seattle, USCutter launched in 2005 by bringing a low-cost, high-quality vinyl cutter to the market. In the years since, USCutter has introduced vinyl cutting to thousands of start ups, established businesses and hobbyists. The company has steadily expanded its product line and today it offers the largest selection of vinyl cutters in the industry.
USCutter’s surge in popularity and expanding sales channels called for a robust, flexible and scalable retail solution that would eliminate downtime and support an expanding multichannel operation with growing order volumes.
The business was also seeking a provider that could synchronise all data, including cross-channel sales, into a single source of truth and integrate quickly and fluidly with its existing tech stack, including BigCommerce.
USCutter considered alternative options like Netsuite and Acumatica but Brightpearl’s highly rated demand forecasting features, alongside it’s pre-built integration to BigCommerce and history of rapid deployment — 120 days on average — made it the obvious choice.
“Brightpearl does many things well,” said Karl Bowman, President of US Cutter. “We are really excited about the automation its rules based fulfillment options provide. “Combined with our fraud protection software, we only need to manually touch, review, and allocate a fraction of the orders compared to our previous system. We have been pleasantly surprised with the number of solid integrations with strong, third party applications like ShipStation, and coming soon: Square POS.”
The combined integration of Brightpearl and BigCommerce means the firm’s multichannel eCommerce operation can now continue to expand and grow without interruption.
With Brightpearl’s Demand Planner the brand can now accurately forecast demand for any product.
USCutter can trust that its orders, inventory and warehouse workflows are streamlined and automated through Brightpearl’s Digital Operations Platform (DOP) .The team will also benefit from multi-warehouse functionality, omnichannel OMS, and drop-ship automation.
“We are delighted to bring USCutter on board,” said Justin Press, SVP Customer Success at Brightpearl. “As brands expand into multichannel channels and markets, and grow their technology ecosystems, challenges can arise, especially when scaling at pace. Brightpearl offers the perfect tool for streamlining sales orders, inventory, shipping and warehouse management into one system. It also provides a real-time view across multiple sales channels, making growth that much easier for sophisticated retail operations like USCutter. Now that USCutter’s operations are fully supported, they can focus on developing their brilliant products. We can’t wait to see them shake things up even further.”
Brightpearl provides digital operations solutions for the world’s biggest retail brands and has seen the number of ecommerce firms joining the platform grow by 75% since the last quarter of 2020. The DOP includes financial management, inventory and sales order management, purchasing and supplier management, CRM, fulfillment, warehouse and logistics.
