Speakers Include Retail Experts from Finish Line, Future Group, Moncler, REI, Retail Systems Research and Zalando
ATLANTA, March 12, 2018 – Aptos, Inc., a recognized market leader in retail technology solutions, today announced the impressive speaker line-up of leading retail executives and experts who will present at its upcoming Thinking Retail Symposiums in Paris on March 21 and in New York City on May 17.
The 2018 Thinking Retail Symposiums will address how the complexities of omni-channel retailing are putting unprecedented demands on retailers, particularly on the teams that plan, design and deliver products.
Confirmed speakers for the Paris symposium include the following Aptos customers: Future Group, one of India’s leading business conglomerates; Moncler, the fashion company specialized in sportswear, outerwear and skiwear; REI, the U.S. outdoor retailer, as well as the online fashion platform Zalando. REI and Zalando are also scheduled to speak at the New York City event, together with Finish Line, a premium sports footwear and apparel retailer.
During the symposiums, the customer speakers will share the opportunities and challenges involved in global commerce and their respective businesses, and describe the best practices and innovations that have led to enhanced business performance and customer satisfaction.
Additionally, the symposiums will welcome Brian Kilcourse, managing partner at Retail Systems Research, who will deliver a keynote speech offering a fresh perspective on the retail industry and future trends, reinforced by surveys and research insights.
Thinking Retail Symposiums, which have been held in Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Paris, Milan and New York City, have grown each year and are now considered a must-attend event for those involved in all facets of merchandise lifecycle management.
“New customer needs combined with fierce competition, the call for greater supply chain efficiency and the complexity of omni-channel retailing, are all factors that drive an urgent need for major changes in the methods and processes of the merchandise office,” notes Simone Pozzi, general manager at TXT Retail, an Aptos Company. “Thinking Retail delegates will be able to interact with and hear from thought leaders and peers who face similar challenges, share ideas, and take back practical learnings to apply to their business.”
The symposiums will include rich Q&A sessions and networking opportunities. Live demonstrations of the TXT Retail 9 solution will showcase the value of an end-to-end merchandise lifecycle management approach, integrating processes from design, planning, delivery and in-season management, including the latest advancements in visual and collaborative planning and extensions to analytics.
“We are excited that we’ve been able to facilitate the Thinking Retail Symposiums in North America and Europe for over 10 years running,” added Pozzi. “At this year’s event, attendees will also have the opportunity to deepen their relationships with Aptos executives and learn how Aptos’ Singular Commerce platform unifies the entire retail enterprise to help global retailers accelerate their digital transformations and engage customers differently.”
