Chicago-based Alterian announced today that the Alterian Marketing Suite now includes the full functionality of Dynamic Messenger, the company’s Web 2.0 e-mail and online marketing application gained through the acquisition of Los Angeles based Dynamics Direct earlier this year. The new offering delivers the first successful merger of traditional database marketing operations such as data modeling, segmentation, selection, and analysis with online marketing execution in a single application and workflow. To date, database marketing and online marketing tasks have been performed independently and typically executed by multiple applications with limited collaboration between systems, which can result in cumbersome workflows and added costs.
