Target Acquires DermStore Beauty Group

Content Manager

Target announced this week it will be acquiring independent skin care ecommerce site  DermStore Beauty Group.  The acquisition will position Target to expand its share of evolving online beauty market and will further differentiate the company’s offerings, according to a press release from Target.

Once the transaction is finalized,  DermStore will become a new, wholly owned subsidiary of Target.  It will continue to operate as a separate entity under its online name,  DermStore.com.

This announcement follows Target’s recent acquisition of CHEFS Catalog and Cooking.com  earlier this year.
