Brylane taps two top execs

Multititle apparel and home goods cataloger Brylane has appointed Christophe Gaigneux executive vice president of its Special Sizes apparel group, responsible for leading product development initiatives for Brylane’s Lane Bryant, Roaman’s, King Size, and Jessica London catalogs. Gaigneux comes to Brylane from the La Redoute catalog unit of Brylane’s Paris -based parent firm Redcats, the home shopping division of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute.

New York-based Brylane also appointed “home grown” Kevin Doyle executive vice president of merchandise support. He is responsible for updating and guiding the company’s direct merchandise supply chain, including global technical design, quality assurance, corporate liquidations, and inventory management policy. Doyle, who joined Brylane in 1975, has managed product development, inventory, merchandising, and marketing functions.

Both Gaigneux and Doyle will serve on Brylane’s executive committee and report to Brylane chairman/CEO Russell Stravitz.
