Omaha, NE—Launched earlier this month, food cataloger Omaha Steaks’ Web-only catalog of prepared frozen meals, A La Zing, appears to be a runaway success. “We hit our first month’s projections on the first day,” says director of marketing Vickie Hagen. “It’s a meal solutions catalog all packed so that when people come home from work, they just heat up a full meal.” Hagen says that the company launched A La Zing as a Web-only catalog but eventually plans to produce a print book.
