Bloomingdales apologized after it approved a rather inappropriate ad in it new holiday catalog. The copy read “Spike your best friend’s egg nog when they’re not looking” caused a bit of backlash after it was released Tuesday.
This was the response on Bloomingdale’s Facebook and Twitter pages on Tuesday:
In reflection of your feedback, the copy we used in our recent catalog was inappropriate and in poor taste. Bloomingdale’s sincerely apologizes for this error in judgement.

Tech Insider reports that though the “best friend” could be the woman in the ad or someone not pictured, the image insinuated that over serving someone to get a girl’s attention was inappropriate.
