A direct marketing campaign that database marketing services firm Merkle coordinated for client Dell napped top honors among the 2005 National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM) Excellence Awards. The awards will be presented at a luncheon at the NCDM conference in Orlando, FL, on Dec. 13. “Direct” magazine, a sister publication of MULTICHANNEL MERCHANT, and the Direct Marketing Association sponsor the awards and the conference.
The awards honor marketers that have demonstrated ingenuity and creativity in leveraging their databases as part of their direct marketing campaigns. In addition to the platinum award, three gold winners, three silver winners, and three bronze winners have been announced.
