(Direct) Footwear merchant ShoeMall has not only launched a print catalog, but it is also revitalizing its e-commerce site.
ShoeMall didn’t release circulation numbers for its new 48-page catalog, but a spokesperson says the target audience is women aged 25-54 who buy at least four pair of shoes a year and are comfortable shopping online. The catalog was due in mailboxes this week.
The revamped Website allows visitors to browse by size and by price range. It also suggests slightly off-center styles that shoppers might not have otherwise considered.
Both efforts are being touted in a series of humorous ads that proclaim “We know how much you love shoes.” One reads, “We recently heard of a woman who has 29 pairs of black shoes. That’s right, only 29.” The ads will appear in a variety of national magazines, including “InStyle,” “Lucky,” “Marie Claire,” and “People Stylewatch”.
