On Nov. 9, a little more than a month after founder Richard Thalheimer was forced out at Sharper Image Corp. (see ”Thalheimer Out as Sharper Image CEO”), president/chief operating officer Tracy Wan and executive vice president/chief financial officer Jeff Forgan resigned.
Wan’s job title will be eliminated and her management responsibilities will be assumed by interim CEO Jerry Levin. Daniel Nelson, currently senior vice president/controller/principal accounting officer, will be interim CFO. Nelson previously served as the cataloger/retailer’s interim controller. Forgan, meanwhile, will serve as a consultant over the next four months to assist the finance department as the San Francisco-based company looks for a permanent CFO.
