Here’s how social media helps me in my everyday life: It allows me to stay connected with friends and family, while at the same time providing relevant content to me about my areas of interest, personally and professionally.
Here’s how social media helps my business grow: Social media has allowed us to reach out and engage with our customers. It allows us to listen, and interact with them and has enabled us to spread our brand message very rapidly. Social media is also a great way to understand if you are doing a good job or not, as people are usually not too shy when on social channels.
The best lesson I learned about social media is: Once you put it out there… there is no way to get it back
My favorite channel to shop in is: Online!
When I’m not shopping on my own site, my favorite place to shop is: I do spend time on Amazon, but recently I have switched to Zappos.
If there’s one merchant I could emulate, it’s: I like what Burberry has done…I think they are probably the closest to being able to create a true omnichannel experience. In their flag ship stores, they have really blended digital with the traditional shopping experience.
The biggest technology enhancement I need to help grow my business is: Aggregation of our offline and online customer data. This will allow for more.
My favorite place to travel for business is: Las Vegas
When I’m not travelling for business, I like to visit: All the great places in Rhode Island, especially Newport and Narragansett
The best advice I received from a boss, friend, mentor or family member is: Love what you do, and if you don’t… go do something else!
When I’m not working: I am spending time with my wife and kids, coaching soccer, and playing some golf
My hidden talent is: I have played the trumpet for over 30 years.
If I could have one superhero power, it would be: I would love to be able to run at the speed of light like Superman
If I went to my high school class reunion today, my classmates: Would be surprised… as I have not been to one since my 5 yr reunion
When I was growing up, I wanted to be a: Veterinarian
