Coach Inc. said it recently re-launched its website, in order to gain greater business agility and fuel growth across channels and geographies.
The luxury accessories brand switched from its previous website platform to Demandware’s cloud-based solution to better support the company’s omnichannel business transformation and international expansion plans.
According to Coach, this will enable it to keep pace with its evolving customer base. It said in a release that Demandware provided a more flexible and scalable model aligned with Coach’s growth strategy.
“We weren’t just looking for a new ecommerce platform; we wanted to fundamentally change our operations model to gain better control and be able to execute across channels and geographies faster,” said David Duplantis, president of global marketing, digital and customer experience at Coach. “We selected Demandware because its cloud model enables the speed and agility we need to pursue our strategic initiatives today and into the future.”
