Google announced that its Google Shopping Express, a same-day delivery service, is now available to everyone in the Bay area from San Francisco to San Jose, according to a press release.
Google Shopping Express was announced earlier this year to residents in the San Francisco area and those living in the Bay area were given the option to sign up as one of the limited number of beta testers. Retailers were also given the opportunity to apply and be part of the service.
The service allows shoppers to connect and shop online and get what they need the same-day. Google is also launching a Google Shopping Express mobile application for both Android and iOS.
Merchants available for the service include American Eagle, Office Depot, Staples, Target, and Walgreens, to name a few. The service allows shoppers to shop nationally, regionally and locally.
Store prices for Google Shopping Express are the same as they are in-store and shoppers will pay the same amount for whatever they are buying. Google has made it possible for shoppers to select a delivery window that is convenient for them, running from the morning to 9 p.m.
