UPS and Staples are teaming up to make it easier to ship UPS packages from any Staples location, according to a press release from UPS. Customers now can charge the cost of shipments at Staples to their UPS account.
What this means is that customers no longer have to prepare labels ahead of time and will see an invoice, and any customized rate on their regular UPS invoice. The feature will be particularly useful to those who spend more time on the road, such as distributed sales professionals and technicians.
Small business owners will have the convenience of being able to purchase office supplies for their business when they ship packages.
“We’re thrilled to offer Staples customers the added convenience for shipping UPS packages,” said Damien Leigh, senior vice president, business services, Staples in the press release. “The new billing options combined with our expanded line of packaging and shipping products make one-stop shipping easy for our small business customers.”
